Week 19 Blog, Due Sunday, January 27th, 2013
As we gear up for our exit level TAKS test, I want everyone to think about what is required to be commended. Remember, in order to exempt the second semester final for physics, you need to get commended performance on your science TAKS test. So, I want you to think about which objective is your weakest and what are you going to do reach the commended level. Some things to think about are after school tutorials, classroom attendance, completing classwork, studying on your own time, etc.. You may also want to reflect on anything you are going to do differently this semester, especially if you barely pasted the first semester. This is your chance at a fresh start! Remember, you must post at least one original comment PLUS comment on at least one other person's post in order to get full credit. If you have questions or any problems posting, please let me know BEFORE 5 pm Sunday. As always, if you have trouble posting, you can email me your responses. Happy Blogging!

my weakest was objective 3. this semester im making it my goal to do all, or at least majority of my homework.

DeleteMy weakest objective was 4 i think and this semester I'm aiming for A's and to do that i will comment back on the blogs.

DeleteMy goal for this semester is to complete all my inclass work as well as my homework and also study more and come to tutorials in order to be able to achieve my expectations of obtaining a high grade this semester unlike last semester that I blew off.

ReplyDeleteYeah or just stay for tutoring and learn a lot as well. I believe 1 and 4 are hard because those are my weakest.

DeleteMy weakest objective was 1 last year and this year is 4.Its because I have study more on some graphs,biology,and chemistry.I want to get commended this year and exempt physics.I WILL!!!

ReplyDeleteMy weakest objective last year was 2 and this year is 4 and 5. My goal is to commended and to reach that goal i will pay attention to the skills you will teach us in class and study in my own time. I will also make sure to ask you question on what i don't understand.

ReplyDeleteMy weakest objectives were 1 and 4 because they relate mostly to chemistry which I have to refresh myself on. I plan on doing this by studying more the objective and asking questions so I can be able to get commended just like last year and possibly make a perfect score. On the otherhand my grade is just fine and this semester I will try to keep it like last semster's which was a high A.
ReplyDeleteMy weakest objective was #3 & I think it was just because I haven't focused on TAKS Science Materials since last year so I just need remind myself. This semester I will do all blogs & and aim for a high B or A! Hopefully. Lol

DeleteWell I was gone for two days this week so i'm not so sure what objectives are my weakest. I will try my best to attend tutorials and study to refresh my memory. And this semester my goal is to get an A and keep it that way and not let my grade drop.
ReplyDeleteI missed one from every objective, so I would have to work on all objectives not just one in order to be successful. I am also going to make sure I do all of my work & get help on what I dont understand. I hope to have nothing but A's (:

DeleteIf I remember correctly my weakest objective was 1 or 2. As I went back through the test I kind of felt silly seeing what I missed because i knew the answers. And my goal for the semester is to get all my work turned in as for the test I want to miss at minimum of one question.
ReplyDeleteI believe my weakest objective was number 4? I'm not too sure, but I feel like I did pretty poorly in all the objectives. I definitely think I need a good refresher of certain areas of past subjects. Something I want to change this semester is my work ethics like time management and procrastination! I also want to keep studying and actually working through my work.

DeleteI think my weakest objective this year was objective 3. This semester I hope to not be lazy when it comes to homework or class work and ask questions when i really don't understand something. I hope to get a high A!!

My weakest is objective four even last year. This time i'm actually going to study for it.

Deletei've been doing pretty well in class, but i feel like sometimes i lack comprehension of certain things. I think i should start studying more on my own time, or even form a study group. I think my weakest objective was 4, therefore i need to review those types of questions, especially.

ReplyDeleteI don't know. What is my weakest subject because I was not in class the day you reviewed the answers but I can say that the mnra and the classifying the plants something like that. I will study so that I can have no confussion in those topics.
ReplyDeleteyes i would suggest reviewing backwards starting with biology since that is the oldest science we have learned.

DeleteWell I have no idea what my weakest objective was, but whatever it is I will plan to brush up on that and any other objective i'm not close to 100 percent on. Hopefully my efforts can lead to me exempting physics 2nd semester.

Deleteas ironic as it may seam being that I'm taking a physics class my lowest score was in subject 5 which is mostly physic concepts. i will improve by finding a better grasp on the basic concepts.
