Week 5, Due Sunday, September 29th by 11:00 pm
Last year, I assigned a mousetrap car project to my physics students. I want to know if you are interested in doing the mousetrap cars. It would be a major grade assignment. At this time, I am not planning on assigning this project, but I want to know what all of you think. If you didn't want it to be a required project/grade, I would consider maybe offering it as an extra credit project. Please answer honestly, as I do not want to assign the project if most of you really do not want to do it. The project would involve building a mousetrap car and then applying Newton's Three Laws to its motion. I would also have to travel at least 5m to get full credit. Let me know what you think. Remember, you must post an ORIGINAL comment and REPLY to someone else's post in order to receive full credit. As always, if you have trouble posting on the blog, you can email me through the district website, at physicswithego@gmail.com, on twitter, or on edmodo.com. Happy Blogging!

The project sounds very interesting we should do it. :-) n we should do it for extra credit (in my opinion)
ReplyDeleteI would like to do it. It sounds like a fun project except where would we get the materials needed that is my concern other than that is a yes!
ReplyDeleteIt does sound interesting, and I'm guessing we have to bring everything ourselves.
DeleteIt doesn't sounds like a bad idea at all! For an assigned project it sounds great.
ReplyDeleteI agree , sounds like fun
DeleteI would like to do it but since I do what's best for business I suggest we do it as a group what do yall think?
ReplyDeleteDang Eduardo, what's up with you and what's "Best for Business?"
DeleteDoing it in a group would tackle the challenge of supplies for just one person.
Deleteim not sure if we should do it as a group
DeleteI think I would really enjoy this project. I just hope I don't get caught by the mouse trap.
ReplyDeleteLol same here!
DeleteThat really does hurt. I did it with a friend and it hurted for days
DeleteWe Shall Do The Project . :) lol
ReplyDeleteI think it would a nice project to do. I would rather it be a major grade but either way is fine
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure. Whether it be taken as a major grade or extra credit, the idea is still fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI think that the project would be a good one for extra credit
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with you.
DeleteI wouldn't mind doing the project for extra credit it seems interesting!
ReplyDeleteI think we should do it with partners , it would be more fun. And then see who has the best one in the class.
ReplyDeleteIt would be more interesting to do with a partner. Therefor there will it more enjoyable for you and the other person.
DeleteIf it has something to do with what we are learning, sure.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a very great project to do and it'll be good for extra credit.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do it as extra credit(:
DeleteI would like to do it either way
ReplyDeleteyup
Deleteyep, seems cool.
ReplyDeleteIt does
DeleteSounds fun, I'd prefer it to be extra credit but it doesn't really matter
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like fun. Either way is fine with me.
ReplyDeleteYea it sounds fun
Deleteyes
DeleteIt think the mousetrap project should be extra credit it is a good opportunity to show creativity and review the three laws of motion.
ReplyDeleteExtra credit seems more manageable for me at least.
ReplyDeleteYea fot me 2
DeleteI think is a great idea it would helps us a lot
ReplyDeleteIt sounds good
Deleteit will we will learn the laws by doing the assignment
DeleteI think it would be a great idea for an extra credit project.
ReplyDeleteI know right!
DeleteI'm always very busy so I would prefer it if it would be extra credit. It sounds very fun though.
ReplyDeleteMajor grade would be best to help boosting up a student's grade. Not extra credit due to it not having much effect on a student's grade.
ReplyDeleteMajor grade would be really good
DeleteThe project would be great for an extra credit assignment.
ReplyDeleteMAJOR GRADE it sounds fun!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to do this as a major grade, it would be awesomeeeeeeee ayeeee(:
ReplyDeleteYeah, it really would be awesome
Deletethis project would be good for a major grade :)
ReplyDeletewhat if the car does not end up how you expect it to go? if you get a low grade on a major grade it will lower your grade.do you truly want to risk it?
DeleteI've been waiting to do this project. It seems kind of challenging it seem really fun and cool. When do we start? It would be better as extra credit though to boost up most of peoples grade.
ReplyDeleteMost of us have been struggling a lot with other school work. Our US history notes kill us all. The mousetrap car will only put more pressure on us.The extra credit sounds great for the people who want to get a higher grade.
ReplyDeleteEven though i finished, I would've did it for extra credit anyways.
