Week 6 Blog, Due October 6th by 11:00 pm
Now that we have taken our first test, it is time for you to reflect on your grade. If you did not do very well, why do you think you didn't do well. If you did well, what is it you did to be successful? Going forward, what are you going to do to either get a higher grade on the next test or maintain the high grade you have already. What is your goal for this class? What are you still having trouble with? What is your plan for future success? Remember, you must post an original comment AND reply to someone else's comment to receive full credit. If you have any questions or problems, remember, you can contact me by email or on edmodo. I didnt do well in this test because i missed 3 days and all on b days so i didnt know what to do on our next test i plan to go to school and not miss school in order for me to know everything on the test and have a higher grade

DeleteI did ok on the test because i did all my homework but I wasn't completely familiar with the stuff, for the next test I plan to stay for tutorials more often to understand everything entirely, my goal for the class is to understand everything better, as of now I'm not having trouble with anything, I plan to study a lot more for the future tests

DeleteI did the majority of the homework and that helped me understand and practice the material. My goal is to have an A in the class and do well on tests. So far nothing has been too difficult. My plan for future success is to study and continue doing the extra credit and homework. :)

DeleteI will start doing the extra credit too. It really helps boost up our grade.
DeleteI didn't do so well because I did silly mistakes. I did the homework, but whenever I see the word test I start to freak out and over-think. For the next test I will considerate and go over the test to check if I did any mistake. Also study, because studying is the only way to success. My goal for the class is to keep an A and understand everything. I'm not having any trouble with anything yet, but if I do I'll be sure to ask questions.

DeleteI didn't do well on the test because I was very sleepy from not going to bed early. I also never asked questions when I sincerely didn't have a clue as to what Ms. Ego was saying to the class. From now on I'll ask more questions and go to bed earlier and stay for tutorials if necessary.

DeleteI did not do well in the test mostly because I confused most of the equations that should have been simple and not overthought it. I really should ask more questions in class but when miss ego explains it I get it but I have a hard time applying it to other situations. My goal for this class is to have and A I will start staying after school for tutorials when I can and try to learn how to apply whet I learned to different scenarios in the problems for test.
ReplyDeleteI also have difficulty applying the things she teaches us, since she only covers the surface of the subject. I guess I should ask more questions too.
DeleteI did okay. I over thought it ALOT! However, I did end up getting the answer for most questions. I did some stupid mistakes to get 1/2 points off and I didn't much remember how to do displacement. Nothing is hard yet, just need to not over think it. I should probably study next time and do extra credit to get a high A in the class.

DeleteMy test grade was good. I did some mistakes that i was able to correct. Homework helped me out to get it more clearly. Also taking calculus helped me out with the math involved. I'm surely going to keep on doing my homework .I hope to manage to stay in track during the year. If i ever have troubles I will take time off to stay after school
ReplyDeleteI didn't get the grade I wanted since I really didn't understand the subject. I did all my homework and even extra credit, but i still feel weak in this subject. I will stay for tutorials since the lessons aren't very clear to me. In the future, I will aim for an A in this class.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't happy with my grade, but staying after school really did help me to at least pass the test. I plan on staying after school more, so i can pass with a higher grade and my goal is to have an A in the class.

DeleteThis first test grade wasn't so good because I had alot of silly mistakes. To get a better grade next time I am going to attend tutorials and study. My goal for this class is to pass it with an A. Now that I have attended Saturday school, I understand everything much better. My plan for future success is to stay focus & do all my work. (:

DeleteI didn't do well on the test because my mind went blank on some questions. I just kept forgetting the equations to use. To get a better grade I would study on the equations that I should need. My goal for this class is to pass with an A. I will try my best to reach it as well and stay focus.

DeleteSomething that will help you not blank out on knowing what equations go with what problem is maybe creating flash cards like the ones we did in class. You can use them to quiz yourself over what equations to use and the units will definitely help you learn them and hopefully not blank out again.
DeleteI didn't do very well because of little mistakes like graphing or placing a wrong number. What ill do to improve my grade would be to double check. My goal for this class is have A average. I have trouble with the mathematical expression part of the graphs. My plan is to study more.

DeleteI know I could of done better on the test but I had some little mistakes do to misreading. Also, I wasn't too prepared because I didn't study as much as I should have. To get a better grade next time I will make sure I fully understand everything and if not ask questions and double check my answers. My goal for this class is to keep above a 90.

DeleteI got higher than the average score, so hey, that must count for something right? As previously mentioned above, sleep deprivation played a tremendous role in exam results, and it is pretty obvious that if the required amount of sleep is received, paying attention shall not be an obstacle, thus prompting higher test scores.

DeleteI did okay on the test, not happy with the score I received but I think I got that grade because I was still a little confused on the velocity graphs and I also made stupid mistakes that made me lose a chance at getting an 80 or higher.
ReplyDeleteI understood the criteria, but I did some really simple mistakes that prevented me from getting a 100. Next time I shouldn't be so hasty with my choices and reanalyze them before turning in the test.

DeleteI'm pretty satisfied with my grade although I could do better next time by reviewing information before the next test. simply by paying attention in class is what got me my grade my goal in this class is an A and it seems very possible. my planfor next time is to do more than just pay attention in class.

ReplyDeleteAfter taking the first physics exam I feel a little more self-assured I will do well in the class. Getting a pretty good score on the exam I have realized some of the things I need to improve on which are just re-checking calculations and making sure the motion graphs are correct. My goal for the next exam is to get a 90% or higher and to make sure I do accomplish my goal I will not only study a bit more but make sure I stay after school to get more practice.

DeleteMy grade isn't what I want it to be. I didn't really do any homework and I believe that is what affected my grade. Im going to start doing all my homework and asking questions. I know I can improve. Im going to need to study more:

DeleteI missed two days of physics and I wasn't too dedicated in catching up or fully understanding the lesson. I definitely want to get a higher grade on the next test and to do so I'll make sure that I know what's going on. I'll ask questions and complete my homework.

DeleteI am content with my score due to the preperation put into my exam. I scored better than i thought I did because i did not study as much as i should have. Spending some more time studying would definitely allow me to improve my score because i feel that's what i need.

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty happy with my score and the only reason I passed the test was because we reviewed the subject before the test, therefore I realized I always need to review before the test. Its the best plan for me at the moment. Haha. For sure, I need to start staying for tutorials in order to get an A.

I hope to be successful in the next test we have. My goal is to pass with a B in this class and my goal overall as anyone else is to succeed and make my family proud.

ReplyDeleteI did terrible on the test. I should start coming to tutorials daily, and choose different people to sit next to. But after I retested I understood what I did wrong. My goal is to first pass this class, and then try to maintain a B average once we start a fresh 9 weeks.

ReplyDeleteI didnt do well because I did not apply myself. I wasnt entirely familiar with the problems. I think if I assert myself and focus on the topic, I will grasp the concept and begin to understand. I will study next time and be ready!
